In the face of a climate emergency (global warming, forest fires, endangered species…) Sidas World company is commited to a more responsible approach. 
The creation of a foundation quickly became an appropriate choice, because it is a philantropic commitment that goes far beyond simple sponsorship.

In fact corporate teams can choose to get involved in the project, and the donation is compeltely desinterested. No compensation is asked to be paid in return.

The actions supported are carried out in the general interest and are non-profit making. 

The purpose of the fund is to support sustainable development projects that help reduce carbon emissions and preserve ecosystems. It can also support initiatives to raise awareness and inform the public about sustainable development.

The primary focus of the Fondation Sidas World is to support projects aimed at improving natural carbon capture:

• Planting 
• Forests adaptation, peatlands, mangroves, etc. 
• Restoration of natural areas. 
• Protection of biodiversity. 
• Awareness-raising and training on these themes. 
   

Forests are the 2nd largest carbon sink after the oceans, and one of the main reservoir of biodiversity. They help regulate the climate, maintain air quality, filter water...

For all those services, forests and more generally trees will be among our priorities in the choice of projects we will support.
